There will be "The Best Spooky Book Contest." The Winning Prize will be $100, a Halloween Basket filled with goodies, and their book will be digitally transformed into a cartoon version of their drawings. (A total value of $500)
The Workshop
- Choose A Time: 4PM - 5:30 PM or 6PM - 7:30PM
- Week One ( Monday October 23, 2023 )
- We will guide them to create their story line that each child will follow to develop their book. All materials are provided and each child will draw and color their book.
- Week Two ( Monday October 30, 2023 )
- We will support the children in finalizing their story book, giving it the last touches to their drawings, and finish coloring their book.
WHAT TO EXPECT
In these workshops, we are going to take them on a journey where they have the guidelines to create their own stories and in the end their own books. Each month has its theme so we'll create a story based on that theme. The children are guided which makes the whole writing process easier and more fun, we'll help them to find inspiration and create an idea, the characters, the storyline, and the book structure (beginning, conflict, turning point, resolution, and end) and by the end of the workshop all of them will have their own book, drawn, colored and written by them.
How many kids per group and what is the age range?
We handle groups of a maximum of 20 kids between the ages of 7 to 12.
Do you provide the materials?
Yes. We will provide all the materials needed, pencils, paper, markers, etc.
What is the contest about?
When all the kids have their story ready we will select the most creative, artistic, and storytelling of them all, and the winner will get a price of $100, a basket filled with goodies and we will digitalize their whole story!
How long is the workshop?
It lasts 1 hour 30 min and you can choose the time frame that works the best for you, we have available 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
How much is it?
The price per kid is $149 per child which includes, 2 classes, 3 hours in total, all the materials, and a digital copy of their book!
What to expect at the end of the workshop?
All the kids will create their story, we'll guide them through the process, and at the end, all of them will have a physical copy and a digital one.
